Fivexer

Automatic staff rostering

Generate a draft your planner can inspect and change.

Start with the sites, shifts and people you actually have. Fivexer can help build the draft around their availability and configured rules. Your planner reviews coverage, resolves warnings and approves what the team sees.

The short answer

Validate a rota you built by hand, ask for recommended workers, or generate a whole draft — then review coverage, hours and rule warnings before your planner publishes. How much is automated is a setting, not a commitment.

What it checks
Required coverage, availability, qualifications, worker terms and your configured working rules.
What it does not supply
People. No solver can fill demand the available workforce cannot cover; a shortfall stays visible rather than being hidden.
Who decides
Your planner. The generated draft is a starting point for a decision, never evidence that every real requirement was captured.

Start with validation

You do not need to automate the whole week on day one. Build the roster manually and use rule checks to inspect it. This establishes whether availability, qualifications and worker terms match the operation before you rely on generated assignments.

Give the solver a feasible problem

Required coverage, availability and qualifications can conflict. If a site needs two qualified workers and only one is available, a solver cannot create the second person. Keep the shortfall visible and decide whether to recruit cover, change demand or correct inaccurate inputs.

Review before publication

Inspect uncovered demand, worker hours and rule warnings. Make the changes that depend on local knowledge, validate again, then publish the approved version. The generated draft is a starting point for a planning decision, not evidence that every real-world requirement has been captured.

What to account for

No solver can fill demand that the available workforce cannot cover. Fivexer checks the rules you configure; the planner remains responsible for the published plan.
